For the past twenty years, Slamdance Film Festival has proudly been putting its bow-tie shaped stamp on the independent film community. Genuinely a festival by filmmakers for filmmakers, Slamdance’s unique selection process grants each submission an equal opportunity through a purely democratic procedure where the programmers are all filmmakers themselves. After 20 years Slamdance continues to be a vibrant, global resource for new and emerging filmmakers resulting in 7,500 submissions annually.
